Errant Spark
In Egalion’s Imperial court, there is splendor and luxury, but it’s also a realm of treachery. Cloak-and-dagger political maneuvering threatens to destroy the peace of two thousand years.
Battlemage Jex Xander has a mouth that gets him into trouble; while in contrast, Enari Namelum speaks not at all. Amidst the mounting chaos, passion and romance should be the last thing on their minds, but life and the Goddess seem to have other ideas.
They say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but at court you can’t tell one from the other…and they change at the flip of a coin.
Format: Kindle Edition
"[...] WOW! I couldn't put it down! I loved the story I loved the characters and I love that there will be more! The beginning starts a little slow and is kind of confusing but trust me it all comes together. Great book! Good job Ronelle Antoinette I can't wait to read what's next!!"

"Errant Spark by Ronelle Antoinette is a new romantic fantasy novel that both readers and publishers should take note of. The fact that this is a self-published novel is proof that sometimes gems slip through the publishing cracks – but not for long.
The first installment of the Elemental Trials series [...] is a brilliant start and a pleasant surprise."

Really great fantasy stories have fundamental rules, and they probably go like this: 1) create a rich, imaginative, fantastical world that is relatable and believable 2) put unusual, relatable and interesting (and sexy) characters in it, and 3) mix up some sequence of interesting things happening around them, happening to them, and being done by them. Ronelle Antoinette’s first novel in the Elemental Trials Series, “Errant Spark”, fulfilled all three swimmingly.

"Errant Spark is one of my favourite reads of the year. It's difficult to find fantasy romance that combines intricate world-building and a fast-moving plot with very memorable characters and exactly the right amount of romance—Ronelle Antoinette makes it seem effortless. All of the characters are wonderful, but it's the hero, Jex, who really lifts this book onto the keeper shelf. Flirty, witty, and irreverent, he's unapologetically enjoying life despite the dangers of the world he lives in...and it's great fun to watch as he tumbles into unsuspecting love with a deserving heroine. A fantastic, exciting debut. Highly recommended!"

"Wow.....just wow. I LOVED this book! Seriously, I can't rave about it enough [...] This book kept me up until midnight turning pages to find out what was going to happen. I didn't eat lunch that day, because I couldn't take time from the story to go cook something. It's just that good."
